When you have sold an item on United Wardrobe, this is a binding purchase. This means that the buyer paid in advance for your item(s) and you cannot cancel an order. However, there are some exceptions where you can cancel an order as a seller. These are the following:
- You changed your mind and want to keep the item;
- You no longer have the item that you have sold.
When one of the reasons applies to your order, it is possible to submit a cancellation request. You can fill one in via Menu > My orders > Sold.
When submitting a cancellation request, it is important to explain why you want to cancel an order so that this is clear to the buyer. After submitting a cancellation request, the buyer will have 3 days (72 hours) to respond to the request.
- If the buyer approves the request, the order is automatically cancelled. This also applies if he/she does not respond to the request within 3 days. In both cases, we will refund the buyer the purchase amount within 24 hours.
- If the buyer rejects the cancellation request, United Wardrobe will take a look at the request and decide within 72 hours if the order can be canceled or not. Before the sale you have agreed to our terms and conditions, which state that in the event of a dispute we determine whether or not the order may be canceled. So please remember that our decision is final. You can view the current status of the cancellation request via ‘My Orders’.
If your order is already shipped but takes too long to be delivered, cancelling the order will not return the package to you. It will only allow the buyer to be refunded. If the order has Track & Trace, we advise you to first contact the carrier to check where your order is at and when it should be delivered.
